The Ice Cream Factory in 2027: the venue

Spread across a large site on Roe Street, The Ice Cream Factory began as a summer pop-up and has grown into a year-round home for touring and dance acts. It combines an indoor main stage with outdoor areas that can be configured as a larger open-air stage for bigger nights — the reason some tickets read “Ice Cream Factory Outdoor”. In 2027 we track Max McNown (2 February), Tove Lo (7 March, outdoor), CAKE (14 March) and UB40 (17 May). Its mix of DJ nights and live bands reflects Northbridge itself, where club culture and band rooms sit side by side, and the layout — several bars and room to move — gives bigger nights a small-festival feel without leaving the city.

How to get to The Ice Cream Factory

The Ice Cream Factory is on Roe Street, Northbridge, a short walk west from Perth station and Perth Underground and a similar distance from the Perth Busport. That puts it within easy reach of every train line, and the walk from the station is well lit and busy at night. Northbridge’s paid car parks are an option, but they fill quickly on summer weekends when the venue and the surrounding bars are busy. The CBD is a few minutes away on foot for late-night food or an onward taxi rank.

Check whether your show is indoors or in the outdoor space: summer evenings outside stay warm well after sunset, so dress for heat and wear comfortable closed shoes.
