Metro City at a glance

Metro City is a long-running Northbridge nightclub that doubles as a concert venue for touring acts too big for a pub room but not ready for an arena. Its rooms spread over more than one level, with the main floor in front of the stage carrying the concerts. It is a regular stop for metalcore, hip-hop and electronic tours. In 2027 we track Dayseeker (7 February), FKJ (27 February) and Isaiah Rashad (7 March). Shows are often 18+ because of the club licence, so check the age limit on your ticket. Its position a few minutes from Perth station also makes it one of the easiest gig venues in the city to get home from late at night.

How to get to Metro City

Metro City is on Roe Street on the southern edge of Northbridge, directly across from the railway land that separates Northbridge from the CBD. From Perth station, cross through Yagan Square or the station concourse and you are there in about five minutes. Perth Underground is a similarly short walk. Trains on every Transperth line feed into those two stations, and late buses leave from the Perth Busport. Parking in Northbridge is mostly paid and fills on Friday and Saturday nights; given the venue’s proximity to the station, the train makes more sense.

Before your Metro City concert

Most gigs here are general-admission standing; the main floor fills from the stage back, so arrive early if you want to be close. Bring photo ID even if you look older than 18. Northbridge has a wide choice of late-night food within a block. Cloakroom availability varies by show, so travel light.
