Vance Joy Perth 2027

Where things stand for Vance Joy Perth 2027

Nothing official yet. On 9 October 2026 there is no announced Perth show for Vance Joy in 2027, no venue on hold that we can verify and no ticket link worth trusting. If you find a page selling seats for an unannounced date, treat it with suspicion.

Perth sits in an awkward spot on the touring map. It lies more than 3,000 kilometres from Sydney, and promoters such as Live Nation, Frontier Touring, TEG Dainty and Chugg have to justify freighting a production across the continent for what is often a single night. That is why a Indie / Folk-Pop act can play three Melbourne shows and still not come west, and why a Perth date, when it does appear, is often slotted at the start or the very end of the run.

The positive side: when a tour does include Perth, demand is concentrated. There is usually only one chance to see the show without leaving the state, which makes the presale far more important here than on the east coast, where a second or third night often follows.

We watch the announcements daily. Sign up below and the first email you get from us about Vance Joy will be either a confirmed Perth date or the news that there is none.

Matching Vance Joy Perth 2027 to a Perth venue

If Vance Joy does come west in 2027, the shortlist for a Indie / Folk-Pop act of this profile would be RAC Arena, followed by Optus Stadium or HBF Park. We base that on recent bookings in Perth, not on any leaked hold, so read it as a guide to what to expect rather than a fact.

Perth promoters often play it safe on size. Because there is usually only one show, they would rather sell out a smaller room quickly than leave empty seats in a bigger one, and then add a second night if the first goes in minutes. That is how acts end up doing two nights at the Astor or the Riverside rather than one at RAC Arena.

Season also shapes the choice. From December to March the city leans outdoors — Langley Park on the riverfront, the Esplanade in Fremantle, the amphitheatre at Red Hill in the Perth Hills, Kings Park above the CBD — while the cooler months push everything back under a roof. An autumn or winter tour is almost certain to stay indoors.

RAC Arena sits on Wellington Street at the western edge of the CBD, so you can reach it without a car. Buses from the Perth Busport in the City Link precinct and along Wellington Street drop you within a few minutes of the doors, and City West station on the Fremantle line is a few minutes’ walk west. From Perth station or Perth Underground (trains from Joondalup, Mandurah, Midland, Armadale and the airport line) allow around ten to fifteen minutes on foot along Wellington Street. The free CAT buses that loop the city stop nearby. Parking in surrounding city car parks fills early on show nights and exits slowly afterwards, so public transport is usually the faster way home.

When a venue is confirmed we update this page and send it to everyone on the alert list.

Getting in early for Vance Joy Perth 2027

The early tickets for Vance Joy would not go on public sale first. They would be split across several presale windows, each with its own sign-up, code or account requirement, and usually spread over two or three days.

The usual order runs like this: the artist’s own mailing-list presale, then the promoter’s (My Live Nation, Frontier members, TEG or Chugg lists), then card holders and telco customers, and finally general sale. Venue or club members are occasionally given their own window as well.

• Have your Ticketek or Ticketmaster account logged in and your card saved before the queue opens.
• Use one device per account; extra tabs rarely help and can get you flagged.
• Remember Perth is two hours behind Brisbane and, in summer, three hours behind Sydney and Melbourne.

A single Perth night with a small presale allocation can disappear in minutes, so it is worth taking the early windows seriously, and worth registering for more than one of them if you can. Sign up below and we send the code, the queue time in AWST and the link to the official seller — never a reseller.

What Vance Joy Perth 2027 tickets might cost

With no Perth show announced, there is no official price for Vance Joy. What we can give is the range seen at comparable Indie / Folk-Pop shows in Australia, in Australian dollars, so you know roughly what to budget.

At an arena such as RAC Arena, the cheapest upper-tier seats for an act of this size have tended to start around A$79–A$119. General admission floor and mid-level reserved seats usually sit between A$119 and A$169, while the best lower-bowl seats run up to around A$219. Premium packages with early entry, merchandise or lounge access can reach A$279 or more.

Smaller rooms like the Astor or Metro City tend to sit at the lower end, often around A$79–A$149, partly because there are fewer price tiers. Stadium shows spread wider in both directions.

Two things to factor in: booking and handling fees are added on top of the face value, and some Australian tours now use dynamic or “platinum” pricing for a slice of the best seats. If a price looks far above these ranges, check whether you are on the official seller or a resale marketplace.

When real prices are published we update this page and include them in the alert email.

Planning a night out for Vance Joy Perth

Perth is an easy city to get around on gig nights if you plan for the train rather than the car. The Transperth network converges on Perth station and Perth Underground, both within walking distance of RAC Arena and the Northbridge venues, and Optus Stadium has its own station with special event services. For many stadium events the ticket includes Transperth travel; check the conditions on yours.

The free CAT buses that loop the city stop nearby. Parking in surrounding city car parks fills early on show nights and exits slowly afterwards, so public transport is usually the faster way home.

Weather is the next consideration. A January or February show can follow a day well above 35 degrees, and outdoor gates often open while the sun is still strong. Bring water if the venue allows it, a hat for the queue and something light for later, when the sea breeze known locally as the Fremantle Doctor has cooled things down. Autumn shows in March to May are kinder; winter brings rain, not cold.

If you are coming from further afield, from Mandurah, Bunbury or Joondalup, check the last train times before you buy. Late finishes at arena shows usually line up with extra services, but smaller venues do not get that support.

Our alert will include the venue’s transport notes once Vance Joy is confirmed, along with any event-day service changes Transperth publishes.

What a Vance Joy Perth show could feel like

No setlist or production details exist for a Perth show that has not been announced, so we will not guess at them. What we can describe is the setting. K-pop fans in Perth are used to flying east for shows, so a rare western date gets serious planning, banners and early queues.

Perth audiences have a reputation among touring crews for turning up early and making noise, partly because so many tours pass them by. A single-night stop tends to gather fans from across the state, from Geraldton to Albany, which gives the room a sense of occasion that a fourth Melbourne night might lack. Expect a share of the crowd to have driven hours to be there, and some to be staying the night in the city.

The city also knows its music. This is where Tame Impala, Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe, Little Birdy and Stella Donnelly started out, and a West Australian support act on the bill is common. Arrive in time for the opener; plenty of Perth bands were first seen by their future fans in exactly that slot.
