Thy Art Is Murder Perth 2027

Is Thy Art Is Murder Perth 2027 actually happening?

As of 9 October 2026, no Perth date for Thy Art Is Murder has been announced for 2027. That is the honest starting point, and this page will not pretend otherwise: no date, venue or price is listed here until a promoter has put it on sale.

For anyone in Western Australia the real question is rarely whether Thy Art Is Murder tours the country. It is whether the tour crosses the Nullarbor. A typical national run opens on the east coast, moves between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, sometimes adds Adelaide, and only then decides whether a flight of four hours or more to Perth is worth one more night. Some Metal tours add a single Perth show; others skip the west entirely and leave local fans booking flights to Melbourne.

Australian tours are normally announced six to ten months before the first show, and the busiest stretch runs from January to March, when northern-hemisphere acts escape their winter. If Thy Art Is Murder is aiming at that window, an announcement through the spring or early summer of 2026 would be the usual pattern, but nothing about the timing is guaranteed.

Set the free alert below and you will hear the moment a Perth date is confirmed, or the moment it becomes clear the west has been left out.

Matching Thy Art Is Murder Perth 2027 to a Perth venue

If Thy Art Is Murder does come west in 2027, the shortlist for a Metal act of this profile would be Metro City, followed by RAC Arena or Astor Theatre. We base that on recent bookings in Perth, not on any leaked hold, so read it as a guide to what to expect rather than a fact.

Perth promoters often play it safe on size. Because there is usually only one show, they would rather sell out a smaller room quickly than leave empty seats in a bigger one, and then add a second night if the first goes in minutes. That is how acts end up doing two nights at the Astor or the Riverside rather than one at RAC Arena.

Season also shapes the choice. From December to March the city leans outdoors — Langley Park on the riverfront, the Esplanade in Fremantle, the amphitheatre at Red Hill in the Perth Hills, Kings Park above the CBD — while the cooler months push everything back under a roof. An autumn or winter tour is almost certain to stay indoors.

Metro City is on Roe Street on the southern edge of Northbridge, directly across from the railway land that separates Northbridge from the CBD. From Perth station, cross through Yagan Square or the station concourse and you are there in about five minutes. Perth Underground is a similarly short walk. Trains on every Transperth line feed into those two stations, and late buses leave from the Perth Busport. Parking in Northbridge is mostly paid and fills on Friday and Saturday nights; given the venue’s proximity to the station, the train makes more sense.

When a venue is confirmed we update this page and send it to everyone on the alert list.

How presales would work for Thy Art Is Murder Perth 2027

Australian tours almost never go straight to general sale. A typical Thy Art Is Murder run would open with an artist or fan-club presale, then a promoter presale such as My Live Nation or a Frontier Touring members sale, with card or telco presales (Amex, Telstra Plus, Optus Perks) squeezed in on the same day or the day before. General public tickets usually follow a day or two later on Ticketek or Ticketmaster, depending on the venue.

The detail that catches out Perth buyers is the clock. Western Australia stays on AWST all year, with no daylight saving, so a sale that opens at 10am in Sydney or Melbourne opens at 7am in Perth between October and April and at 8am the rest of the year. Some national sales are staggered to local time; many are not. Read the start time carefully and check which state it refers to.

Codes for Perth are generally the same as for the rest of the country, but allocations are smaller because there is often only one show, so presale stock can be gone well before general sale even starts.

Our alert sends the presale code when it circulates, the exact start time converted to WA time and the ticketing company to use.

What Thy Art Is Murder Perth 2027 tickets might cost

With no Perth show announced, there is no official price for Thy Art Is Murder. What we can give is the range seen at comparable Metal shows in Australia, in Australian dollars, so you know roughly what to budget.

At an arena such as RAC Arena, the cheapest upper-tier seats for an act of this size have tended to start around A$69–A$109. General admission floor and mid-level reserved seats usually sit between A$109 and A$159, while the best lower-bowl seats run up to around A$209. Premium packages with early entry, merchandise or lounge access can reach A$269 or more.

Smaller rooms like the Astor or Metro City tend to sit at the lower end, often around A$69–A$139, partly because there are fewer price tiers. Stadium shows spread wider in both directions.

Two things to factor in: booking and handling fees are added on top of the face value, and some Australian tours now use dynamic or “platinum” pricing for a slice of the best seats. If a price looks far above these ranges, check whether you are on the official seller or a resale marketplace.

When real prices are published we update this page and include them in the alert email.

Planning a night out for Thy Art Is Murder Perth

Perth is an easy city to get around on gig nights if you plan for the train rather than the car. The Transperth network converges on Perth station and Perth Underground, both within walking distance of RAC Arena and the Northbridge venues, and Optus Stadium has its own station with special event services. For many stadium events the ticket includes Transperth travel; check the conditions on yours.

Weather is the next consideration. A January or February show can follow a day well above 35 degrees, and outdoor gates often open while the sun is still strong. Bring water if the venue allows it, a hat for the queue and something light for later, when the sea breeze known locally as the Fremantle Doctor has cooled things down. Autumn shows in March to May are kinder; winter brings rain, not cold.

If you are coming from further afield, from Mandurah, Bunbury or Joondalup, check the last train times before you buy. Late finishes at arena shows usually line up with extra services, but smaller venues do not get that support.

Our alert will include the venue’s transport notes once Thy Art Is Murder is confirmed, along with any event-day service changes Transperth publishes.

Before you commit to Thy Art Is Murder in Perth

Heavy music has deep roots in the city that produced Karnivool and Make Them Suffer, and its crowds pack Metropolis Fremantle and Metro City. That is the kind of night a Metal act like Thy Art Is Murder would walk into, should a Perth date be added to the 2027 calendar.

The useful thing to do now is to decide in advance how far you are willing to go. If a tour skips Perth, the nearest dates are usually Adelaide or Melbourne, and the cost of flights changes the maths on what you would pay for a ticket. If it includes Perth, you are likely to face one night with strong demand, so it pays to know which presale you qualify for before the announcement lands. Check whether your bank card or phone plan carries presale access, and join the promoter lists now rather than on the day.
