No INXS Perth 2027 concert is coming. Perth is in fact where INXS ended its live career: on 11 November 2012, at Perth Arena, the band announced it was playing its last show. Nothing has changed since. This page covers the verified facts, Perth's special place in the INXS story, and our free alert.
INXS Perth 2027: the honest answer
There is no INXS performance in Perth in 2027, and there has been no INXS performance anywhere since 2012. Our check on 9 October 2026 found no reunion tour, no new album and no announcement of future dates.
The band reached that point after a long second life. Following the death of singer Michael Hutchence in November 1997, the remaining members kept going with guest vocalists and later recruited new frontmen, before deciding in 2012 that the time had come to stop touring. For West Australian fans that means one thing: a 2027 INXS concert in Perth is not happening, and any listing claiming otherwise is not official. Tribute bands performing the hits are a separate matter and should say so clearly in their billing.
INXS Perth 2027: where it began and where it ended
Perth holds a unique place in the band's history. When INXS played its final concert at Perth Arena on 11 November 2012, saxophonist and guitarist Kirk Pengilly remarked that it felt right to finish in the city where the group had started out some 35 years earlier. The band, then still known by an earlier name, spent part of its formative period in Western Australia before returning east.
That symmetry gives Perth audiences a particular connection: the city saw INXS at the very beginning and at the very end. Fans who were at Perth Arena that night witnessed the last chapter of a story that had taken the band to sold-out stadiums around the world, including a 74,000-capacity Wembley Stadium in July 1991.
