For anyone in Western Australia the real question is rarely whether AC/DC tours the country. It is whether the tour crosses the Nullarbor. A typical national run opens on the east coast, moves between Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, sometimes adds Adelaide, and only then decides whether a flight of four hours or more to Perth is worth one more night. Some Rock tours add a single Perth show; others skip the west entirely and leave local fans booking flights to Melbourne.

Australian tours are normally announced six to ten months before the first show, and the busiest stretch runs from January to March, when northern-hemisphere acts escape their winter. If AC/DC is aiming at that window, an announcement through the spring or early summer of 2026 would be the usual pattern, but nothing about the timing is guaranteed.

With no Perth show announced, there is no official price for AC/DC. What we can give is the range seen at comparable Rock shows in Australia, in Australian dollars, so you know roughly what to budget.

At an arena such as RAC Arena, the cheapest upper-tier seats for an act of this size have tended to start around A$79–A$119. General admission floor and mid-level reserved seats usually sit between A$119 and A$169, while the best lower-bowl seats run up to around A$219. Premium packages with early entry, merchandise or lounge access can reach A$279 or more.

Smaller rooms like the Astor or Metro City tend to sit at the lower end, often around A$79–A$149, partly because there are fewer price tiers. Stadium shows spread wider in both directions.

Parking near the big venues is limited on show nights and expensive where it exists. Around Burswood the stadium precinct is designed for public transport and walking, including the Matagarup Bridge from East Perth across the Swan River. Fremantle shows are worth a day trip in their own right. The Fremantle line runs from Perth station to the port in around half an hour, and venues like Metropolis, Freo.Social, the Arts Centre and Fremantle Prison are all within walking distance of the town centre.

One more Perth-specific point: interstate fans flying in for a single date should allow for the time difference when booking flights, because the body clock gains or loses two to three hours on the way. A Sunday-night show followed by an early Monday flight east is a long day.

What a AC/DC Perth show could feel like

No setlist or production details exist for a Perth show that has not been announced, so we will not guess at them. What we can describe is the setting. Rock in Perth usually means a full Astor in Mount Lawley or a hot Metropolis floor in Fremantle, the port town where Bon Scott grew up.
